Here we are in Rapid City, SD, on a rainy and rather unpleasant day. The weather has not dampened our spirits and we looked forward to exploring this as yet unseen part of the country. We arrived last night and decided that, due to the late hour, we would go out to dinner and take in a movie. Anna Lee has wanted to see Sex and the City and she decided that Jerry should not go as he was not a fan of the show. As Ironman was playing, at the same time, this did not present a problem.
This morning, the campground that we stayed at offered all you can eat pancakes for $1.00 plus 50 cents for coffee. You can hardly beat that deal. After breakfast, we took off for downtown Rapid City to see the sights. The Chamber of Commerce installed bronze statues of various presidents from Washington & Jefferson to Reagan & Bush (the elder). Jerry had a picture taken with Washington & Anna Lee did not want one taken with the Republicans.
