Prairie Edge

We then went into Prairie Edge, a huge store featuring artifacts, art and handiwork by the Plains Indians. One of the works on display was a $72,000.00 molded paper piece of an Indian village. It was great as were the smaller works by this husband and wife artist team. The village piece had been sold and it is easy to see why.

After taking in the downtown area, we opted for lunch at Firehouse Brewery. Anna Lee had her usual salad but Jerry opted for a gumbo which the waiter informed us was a specialty of the house. In fact, the menu told us that Rachel Ray had eaten the gumbo and enjoyed it. It was really great despite all of the bad stuff that was in it.
